LEGO and Tim Burton…these are a few of my favourite things.

The build theme for October at my local LEGO user group was Halloween, I knew what I wanted to make.
Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare before Christmas” is one of my favourite movies. I have been a Tim Burton fan for a long time, and being able to combine the two was perfect.

I have plans in 2020 to make a cosplay of Shock in my own style, combining different elements and the use of my Cricut! Stay tuned for that project!

In the meantime, I decided to build the iconic vehicle of Lock, Shock and Barrell…the walking bath tub. There are other elements to tie it all in together including the Skeleton tree, pumpkin patch, the fences and of course Jack, Sally and Zero.
The little details really tie it all in together. the cobbled road finishes off the look and feel I was going for.

The LEGO minifigs all come from various blind bag series including the latest Disney Series 2 set. Lock, Shock and Barrell are from earlier series…and of course Zero comes from LEGO® Hidden Side

This was a great little build, and I’d love to build some more Tim Burton themed LEGO Moc’s.
